About the Role

Academics Ltd is currently working with outstanding SEN schools across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, supporting children with a range of educational and social needs. These schools are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential through high-quality teaching and tailored support.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:
✔ Work alongside class teachers and support staff to meet the varying needs of students.
✔ Offer individualized and group support within the classroom.
✔ Adapt to different roles depending on the needs of the school.
✔ Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/guardians.

What we’re Looking For

✅ Experience working with children and/or young people (personal or professional experience is desirable but not essential).
✅ A caring, energetic, and enthusiastic individual.
✅ Ability to work collaboratively with teaching and support staff.
✅ Willingness to provide personal care support, if required.
✅ Ability to take initiative and support learning effectively.
✅ A strong passion for supporting children and young people with special educational needs.

Requirements

📌 Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
📌 Eligibility to work in the UK.
📌 A Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification (Level 2 or above) is preferred.
