Learning Support Assistant Job Description:
* Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in a welcoming primary school
* £83-£100 per day
* Based in Colchester
* Education and Training
* Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
* Long-term role starting after February half term
About the Learning Support Assistant Role:
* Providing classroom support to pupils of varying abilities
* Assisting students with SEND and SEMH needs in small groups and one-on-one
* Facilitating differentiated tasks based on student ability
* Collaborating with a supportive team of teachers and teaching assistants
The Ideal Candidate for this Learning Support Assistant Role:
* A confident and proactive individual with a passion for education
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND/SEMH needs (preferred but not essential)
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to learning support
