Academics are working with some fantastic mainstream schools in Colchester who are looking for teaching staff across all subject areas to cover daily supply. As a Daily Supply Teacher, you will be required to teach different age groups across key stage 3 and 4 and provide excellent support in line with the school’s curriculum. You will be required to follow lesson plans, and support pupils’ academic and social development. Working in different schools in Colchester will give you a range of exciting and varied settings, allowing you to experience multiple settings, choosing your own days and hours giving yourself all the flexibility you need!
Duties and Responsibilities of the Daily Supply Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
* Provide the highest standards of Education and Training
* Follow lesson plans provided by the school and ensure continuity in learning
* Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
* Assess student work and provide feedback
* Communicate effectively with school staff and parents
