We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work at a lovely primary school in Llantwit Major.
Position: Qualified Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Llantwit Major
Start Date: March
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to children with a range of learning difficulties and needs within the Specialist Resource Base (SRB) class.
* Assist with the planning and delivery of learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience working within a primary school setting.
* Experience supporting children with ALN in a similar LSA role.
* A valid DBS check and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
