I am working with a supportive secondary school based in the Amersham, Buckinghamshire who are looking for a Design Technology Teacher who can offer Food & Nutrition, Graphic Design and Resistant Materials to GCSE Level.
This is a long term contract from September 2025 – April 2026. A permanent contract will be offered for the right candidate.
Academics are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join the friendly and supportive technology department. They require a good practitioner who is able to teach Design Technology to GCSE level.
The ideal candidate will get involved in the wider life of the school and really inspire the students.
Design and Technology is an intriguing and fascinating subject. If you have the knowledge and are keen to share this with young people then this teaching role in a popular secondary school will be of great interest.
You must demonstrate:
* Experience of teaching Design & Technology successfully at secondary level
* Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design
* Flexibility, resilience and excellent organisational skills
* An ability to be a strong team player
* The ability to teach up to KS3-KS4
* QTS or QTLS
