Teaching Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant in the Witney area, perfect for a recent graduate looking to start their career in education. This role offers a chance to work closely with children and make a meaningful impact on their learning and development as a Teaching Assistant.

* Location: Witney area
* Position: Teaching Assistant
* Full time: 08:30am - 3:15pm - Term time only (39 weeks)
* Pay: The salary for this Teaching Assistant position is £16k + per annum, depending on experience.

The successful Teaching Assistant will support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive learning environment in Witney. They will assist with the planning and preparation of educational activities and provide individual support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons as a Teaching Assistant.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, especially those with special educational needs (SEN).
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment in Witney.
* Help with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
* Monitor and report on student progress.

Requirements and Qualifications:

* A degree in Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
* Previous experience working with children is an advantage for the Teaching Assistant role.
