About the Role:
Early Years Teacher (Maternity Cover) – May 2025 Start
Start Date: May 2025
Location: Chesham
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time
Early Years Teacher responsibilities:
* Delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum in an engaging and creative way.
* Planning and delivering interactive, play-based lessons to support early development.
* Assessing and tracking children’s progress, identifying individual learning needs.
* Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and confidence.
* Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support learning and well-being.
* Encouraging early literacy, numeracy, and social skills through structured and free-play activities.
* Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development in their first years of education.
* Collaborating with teaching assistants and other staff to provide the best possible support.
