Academics are currently searching for an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching assistant to work throughout the Merthyr Tydfil area.
This role is looking to start after the February half term, where you will be aiding the Teachers working with the Nursery and Receptions age groups.
The job will have an opportunity for extension, performance depending and if the school thinks you’re doing a great job!
Expectations of a Teaching assistant!
* You should be able to help control the classroom to ensure a smooth, efficient lesson.
* Be comfortable in taking pupils on a 1 to 1 basis and taking the lead of small groups!
* Some good experience as a Teaching Assistant in Primary schools is desirable.
* Good experience working with children in some capacity is essential!
