A fantastic primary school in Hook is looking for an Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Hook to join their mainstream team ASAP. The school is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive, including those with SEN. They’re seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Hook to support students with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties, and Down syndrome.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support students in the classroom, ensuring they are fully engaged and supported according to their individual needs.
* Adapt teaching methods to ensure students are progressing, creating an inclusive learning environment for all.
* Take on additional responsibilities, including:

* Covering lessons when required.
* Collaborating with the SENCO to implement and monitor EHCPs.

* Support students in developing essential independent living skills and accessing any sensory provisions needed.

Key Requirements:

* Previous Teaching Assistant experience (in a mainstream primary school or specialist setting) is essential.
* Relevant qualifications or degree are beneficial, but passion and enthusiasm are most important.
* A strong desire to support students with SEN and help them achieve their full potential.
