We are looking for a dedicated 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school’s inclusion team in the heart of Godalming. In this role, you’ll work closely with individual students, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically and socially.
1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support to students with diverse learning needs.
* Assist students in accessing the curriculum and completing classroom tasks.
* Implement strategies to promote academic progress and social development.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student well-being.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and feedback.
1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy and a passion for supporting students' learning and development.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous.
