As a Qualified Maths Teacher at our SEN school, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to students with diverse learning needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality mathematics lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities and learning styles. You will also work closely with support staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for each student.
Key Responsibilities-Qualified Maths Teacher- Aldershot:
* Plan, deliver, and assess maths lessons in line with the national curriculum, adapting for the diverse needs of students.
* Use creative and interactive teaching methods to engage students and support their learning.
* Provide differentiated support to students with a variety of learning styles, ensuring all students have access to the curriculum.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff, support workers, and external professionals to provide holistic support.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged.
* Contribute to the development of individual education plans (IEPs) and help implement tailored strategies to meet students' needs.
Qualifications & Skills-Qualified Maths Teacher- Aldershot:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
* Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS3/KS4), ideally in an SEN setting.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of SEN, including the ability to adapt lessons for different learning needs.
* Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students’ emotional and educational development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
