We are seeking a passionate and committed Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team in April 2025! This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an experienced Teaching Assistant to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and inclusive school environment. The role offers potential for a permanent position following the end of the academic year, making it a fantastic stepping stone for long-term career growth in education.

Role Overview:

* Position: Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant
* Location: Waltham Forest, London
* Start Date: April 2025
* Salary: £83.33 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
* Contract Type: Full-Time, until July 2025, Option for Permanent from September 2025
* Working Hours: 5 days per week
* School Type: 3-form entry school with a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating
* Transport Links: Excellent transport connections to the school

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking someone who has a passion for working with children and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on their learning journey. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an educational setting, with a strong understanding of the primary school curriculum. You should be patient, empathetic, and proactive, with excellent communication skills to work effectively with both students and staff. While qualifications such as Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 are desirable, they are not essential if you demonstrate a passion for education and a willingness to learn.
