Academics are currently working with this very successful Primary school in Wandsworth to recruit an experienced SENCO to join their team in April.

This role would suit an experienced Primary SENCO with a SENCO qualification, who would enjoy working in a primary school with a high level of children with SEN. The school really is a brilliant place to work with an experienced Senior Leadership team who along with the teaching and support staff, go the extra mile to make sure all their children are challenged and supported to learn with an exciting curriculum and lots of fun along the way. All children, including those with barriers to learning make excellent progress.

To be successful in this role you will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Have a SENCO qualification and be adept at creating and delivering Educational Health Plans. Be able to work effectively with SLT, staff, parents/ carers and visiting specialist to provide excellent care, support and effective interventions for children with SEN. This role would suit a Primary SENCO who enjoys working with a medium case load and has excellent organisation skills. In return the school offer excellent further CPD to enhance your career and have the opportunity to offer more senior responsibilities with enhanced TLR’s if the successful Primary SENCO would like the challenge. The school has strong links to their school cluster who work together to provide excellent outcomes for staff and children.
