We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to provide vital support in a school setting. This role is ideal for psychology graduates or those with experience in child development, mental health, or education. Working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with additional needs, ensuring they thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural challenges.
* Assist teachers in implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Promote engagement in education and training through tailored support.
Requirements:
* A degree in Psychology, Education, or related field (ideal for graduates).
* Experience supporting children with SEN, autism, ADHD, or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
* A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting student wellbeing.
* Able to commute to Waltham Forest
