Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Lewisham, London
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £95 - £115 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lewisham is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team without delay.
Your Role Will Include:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils, including those with SEN and additional needs
* Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
* Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development
* Encouraging engagement and participation in learning
* Helping to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role with primary-aged children
* A passion for education and supporting young learners
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to adapt to different learning needs and challenges
* A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant qualification) is a plus but not essential
