About the Role:
Academics Ltd is recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Swindon from Easter 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate History Teacher to inspire students and share their love of history in an engaging and supportive environment. As a History Teacher, you will have the chance to shape young minds, delivering dynamic lessons that bring history to life.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons as a History Teacher, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged.
* Teach the full range of history topics, from ancient civilisations to modern history, ensuring a balanced and engaging curriculum.
* Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential as history learners.
* Support students with diverse learning needs, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs as a History Teacher.
* Contribute to the department’s development by collaborating with fellow History Teachers and staff to continually improve teaching practices.
* Be a role model for students, inspiring a lifelong love of history and learning.

Requirements:

* A degree in History or a related subject.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching history at the secondary level.
* A passion for history and a commitment to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to connect with students of all abilities as a History Teacher.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
