Resistant Materials Teacher (Full-Time, Fixed Term – Easter to May Half Term)

Location: Horley, Surrey
Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term (Easter – May Half Term)
Salary: £150 to £260 per day

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Resistant Materials Teacher to join a well-established and supportive Design & Technology department on a short-term, full-time basis from Easter until May half term.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality Resistant Materials lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will:
✔ Deliver practical and theoretical lessons, inspiring students in their learning.
✔ Ensure students make strong progress through well-planned, creative teaching.
✔ Work collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced department.
✔ Maintain high expectations of behaviour and learning in a positive classroom environment.

Who We’re Looking For:

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in Resistant Materials.
✔ Ability to deliver engaging and practical-based lessons in a workshop setting.
✔ Enthusiasm for Design & Technology, with a focus on student progress.
✔ Strong classroom management skills to ensure a productive learning environment.
