As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that lessons continue smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities for the Cover Supervisor include:
* Supervise and manage the behaviour of students, ensuring a productive learning environment
* Be a positive role model for students, developing strong working relationships with them and staff
* Cover pre-assigned lessons, delivering learning materials in line with teacher instructions
* Quickly build rapport with students, maintaining engagement and motivation
* Be flexible in covering different subjects across KS3 and KS4
The ideal Cover Supervisor will:
* Have experience working in a school or with young people
* Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Show a genuine passion for supporting students’ learning and development
* Have the ability to maintain a calm and positive classroom environment
* Hold a degree in any subject
