* Pay: £90 - £115 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

A highly regarded primary school in Lewisham is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 child with high-level Autism. The child is pre-verbal and requires a patient, understanding individual who is confident in working with complex needs and open to personal care, including nappy changing.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child with high-level Autism and complex needs
* Assist with communication development and engagement in learning activities
* Support with personal care to ensure the child’s comfort and well-being
* Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external specialists to implement individual learning plans
* Encourage independence and boost confidence through a nurturing approach
