Academics is currently supporting a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Colchester in their search for a dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025. This role is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers, with TLRs available for the right candidate.
The Role:
* Position: KS2 Primary Teacher
* Location: Colchester, Essex
* Start Date: September 2025
* Contract: Full-time & Permanent
* Year Group: Flexible (Years 3–6 depending on experience and preference)
* Salary: MPS1 – UPS3 (with TLRs available for subject leadership)
What We’re Looking For:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2
* Secure knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
* Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
* A collaborative mindset and positive approach to school life
* A passion for delivering high-quality learning experiences and fostering pupil progress
