About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Admin Finance Assistant to join our dedicated team in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth and effective running of the school's administrative and financial functions.

The successful Admin finance assistant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative operations and will have responsibility for processing financial transactions, including purchase orders (POs), invoices, and supporting budget monitoring.

Key Responsibilities of a admin finance assistant in Coventry:

* Provide efficient and professional administrative support to the school office.
* Process financial documentation including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
* Maintain accurate financial records in line with school and local authority procedures.
* Assist with the reconciliation of accounts and petty cash.
* Liaise with suppliers, staff, and finance teams to ensure smooth and timely processing of financial data.
* Support with general clerical duties such as answering phones, managing emails, and filing.

Person Specification of a admin finance assistant:

* Previous experience working in an administrative role, ideally within a school or educational setting.
* Strong knowledge and experience of financial processes, particularly the use of purchase orders.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and school-based finance systems (e.g., SIMS, FMS, Arbor, etc.).
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and a professional, friendly manner.
* Be able to reliably commute to coventry on a daily basis
