We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support the delivery of therapy programs that make a real difference in the lives of students in Acton.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the school’s Occupational Therapist in delivering 1:1 and group therapy sessions
* Assist with sensory integration activities and fine/gross motor skill development
* Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupils’ progress
* Help adapt the learning environment to meet individual sensory and physical needs
* Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and families to ensure a holistic approach
* Maintain accurate records and assist with therapy-related administrative tasks

Person Specification:

* A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy Assistant practice (or relevant experience in a therapy or SEN support role)
* Experience working with children or young people with special needs, ideally in an educational or therapy setting
* Understanding of sensory processing and developmental challenges
* A caring, patient, and adaptable nature
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
