The Canterbury branch of Academics, a specialist education recruitment agency, is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Ashford, Kent, who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Subject Leader of Geography to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from 1st September 2025.

About the Role:

As Subject Leader of Geography, you will:

* Lead, manage, and develop the Geography curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Inspire a team of teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
* Monitor progress and outcomes to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
* Contribute to strategic planning and play a key role within the wider Humanities faculty.

What We’re Looking For:

* A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a strong track record in secondary Geography education.
* Experience of leadership or a strong desire to step into a subject leadership role.
* A passion for Geography and the ability to inspire pupils of all abilities.
* Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
