Salary: £460 - £500 per week

Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

We are working with exceptional SEN schools across Stevenage, dedicated to supporting children with a wide range of educational and social needs. These schools are seeking committed SEN Teaching Assistants who are passionate about helping students thrive through high-quality support and care.

Ideal for Graduates

This role is particularly well-suited for Psychology graduates, individuals with Youth Work or Care experience, and those aspiring to careers in Clinical Psychology or education.

You’ll gain invaluable experience supporting children with complex needs and behaviours. The ability to use de-escalation strategies and communicate effectively will be key to your success.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

* Personal or professional experience with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
* A caring, enthusiastic, and resilient approach
* Strong team player ready to collaborate with teaching and support staff in Stevenage
* Passion for working with children with special educational needs

Requirements:

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Right to work in the UK
* Level 2 or higher in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred)
* Ideally based locally to Stevenage
