Job Title: Challenging Behaviour Assistant
Start Date: Immediate or September Start
Salary: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

About the Role - Challenging Behaviour Assistant
As a Challenging Behaviour Assistant, you’ll work one-to-one and in small groups, helping students manage their behaviour, re-engage with learning, and build confidence. This school in Islington provides full support and education and training for the right candidate. You'll play a vital role in guiding pupils aged 11–16 through their academic and personal development.

Responsibilities:
Support students aged 11–16 with behavioural difficulties in a secondary school in Islington.

Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external agencies.

Implement behaviour intervention strategies to keep students engaged in education and training.

Maintain a calm, consistent, and professional approach at all times.

Encourage a positive learning environment and personal growth.

Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges is desirable.

A passion for helping young people and promoting education.

Resilience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Ability to commute daily to Islington.
