SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School in Wandsworth
Location: Wandsworth, South East London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £95–£110 per day (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Wandsworth from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children who have a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities

Support the learning and emotional development of pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or group basis
*
Assist the class teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
*
Implement personalised learning strategies and behaviour support plans
*
Monitor and record student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents
Requirements:
*
Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting)
*
Strong understanding of the needs of children with autism and other learning difficulties
*
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
