A well-regarded secondary school in Cirencester is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an English Teacher to inspire and support students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons as an English Teacher aligned with the National Curriculum

Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for English language and literature

Assess and monitor student progress as an English Teacher to support achievement

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to departmental and whole-school goals
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 as an English Teacher
*
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
*
Strong subject knowledge and passion for English Literature and Language
*
DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
