Cover Supervisor Role – Bridlington

Are you passionate about working with young people and want a role that truly matters? We’re seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools in Bridlington and nearby areas. This is a fantastic chance for anyone with a background in youth mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or similar to make a real difference in the classroom.
A day in the life of a Cover Supervisor:
In this position, you’ll step in when teachers are absent to oversee classes, following lesson plans provided by the schools, ensuring student engagement and managing classroom behaviour. No teaching certification? No problem! What counts is your ability to keep students focused, maintain order, and encourage a positive learning environment. There is no planning or marking involved in the role of a Cover Supervisor.
Your daily duties will include:
* Leading lessons based on prepared materials
* Managing student behaviour and encouraging participation
* Supporting students with questions or guidance during class
* Reporting any concerns promptly to school staff
