Youth Worker – Theale

Key Information – Youth Worker:

* Start Date: ASAP
* Hours: Full-time, 08:30–15:00 (Term-time only)
* Pay: £85–£100 per day (dependent on experience)
* Location: Theale

We are working with a fantastic specialist school in Theale that supports students aged 11–16 with complex histories of trauma. The school is seeking a compassionate and proactive Youth Worker to join their dedicated team as soon as possible.

As a Youth Worker, you will play a key role in supporting both the emotional and educational development of students. You’ll work alongside teachers and mental health professionals, making this an ideal role for those interested in careers in education, psychology, or youth support.

Responsibilities as a Youth Worker:

* Offering tailored support in the classroom on a one-to-one or small group basis
* Helping students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Promoting emotional regulation, self-awareness, and resilience
* Working collaboratively to develop and implement personalised support strategies

The Ideal Youth Worker Will:

* Have experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
* Be enthusiastic, patient, and resilient under pressure
* Stay calm and compassionate in challenging situations
* Be committed to having a positive impact on young lives
* Have a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
